Customer Service provided at Restaurants

As customers, we all look for service that satisfy our primary needs when requiring goods or services in any field or area.   Food service is commonly one of the most frequently used by customers everywhere.   No matter if you visit simple or elegant restaurants, small or large, local or international, you will always be requesting services, choosing the best options and discarding bad ones.  When people plan to eat out, some of the main aspects to consider in choosing a good restaurant are prices, atmosphere, and service.  Even though, some restaurants offer good quality food at reasonable prices, customer service is not always good, but it is of capital importance when selecting a restaurant, be it for leisure of business reasons.

Eventhough, some restaurants offer good quality food and prices, people could be dissapointed with the customer service provided by their staff, due to it is not speedy and the attitude of waitress could not be the right one.  Things like these sometimes occur in some restaurants, not all, in my country.  In fact, this issue determines good or bad comments, and as a consequence, rates and recommendations that can be given to other potential customers:  colleagues, friends, or family.  People in general, for business or pleasure, usually hope to receive quality and timely service especially if they are in a hurry, as it happens with working people during lunch time on weekdays.

As an example, I went to a sea food restaurant some months ago, and we had to wait for service with my collegues approximately 40 minutes, which is too much time, especially, when you don't have enough availability to wait for more than an hour and a half or so during your lunch time schedule at work.

In summary, customer service most of the time is linked to the quality of restaurnants.  This aspect is really important for people who try to make the right decision when picking a good option for lunch or dinner, leisure or work.   Service received, in fact, is what determines people's decision to come back give a good rate to the place and also recommend it to friends or colleagues.
